报告题目:Reliability Analysis and Optimised Maintenance of Aging Concrete Structures(既有混凝土结构的可靠度分析与优化维护)

报告主要内容Abstract: Corrosion of steel reinforcement may seriously affect the serviceability and resistance of concrete structures exposed to aggressive environments, such as motorway bridges, car parks and marine structures. Performance assessment based on the predicted corrosion-induced concrete crack evolution and structural strength deterioration is of great importance to evaluate the deterioration of structural resistance and to organise effectively repair planning during the residual service life of the corroded reinforced concrete structures. The presentation provides an approach for residual flexural capacity prediction and lifetime performance assessment of corrosion damaged reinforced concrete structures on the basis of the estimates of concrete crack growth and rebar bond strength degradation. From analytical studies, the concrete crack growth due to corrosion progress is obtained and then used to investigate its influence on rebar residual bond strength. The load carrying capacity deterioration of the corroded concrete structures is evaluated by considering rebar cross-section loss, yielding strength reduction and bond strength degradation. The predicted concrete cracking evolution and structural strength deterioration rate are then adopted as random variables for time-dependent stochastic deterioration modelling. Based on the stochastic process of the concrete cracking evolution and flexural capacity deterioration, the probability distribution of time to failure is obtained and the remaining life is estimated by the current state of the corroded concrete structures. Finally, the obtained time-dependent reliability can be further used for determining the optimal repair time and cost-effective maintenance strategy of aging concrete structures.

陈华鹏教授于1998年获英国格拉斯哥大学结构工程博士,是英国格林威治大学土木工程首席教授,创新与智能结构研究中心主任。长期从事结构健康监测、结构可靠度与性能评估等方面研究,主持包括英国研究理事会、皇家工程院等资助科研项目20余项,发表160多篇国际期刊和会议论文,是英国土木工程师学会会士(Fellow),高等教育学会会士,特许工程师。
